Our lunch and dinner Party Spread group menus are perfect for tables of 6+, flooded with favourites from our All Day Menu to share. Picky-snacky-crispy savouries. Hearty-for-your-party ruby murrays. Dark and fudgy and icy-creamy sweet things. There’s something for everyone. Choose your perfect mix of non-veg., veg. or vegan options when you arrive. Toast with your choice of knock-out cocktails, local beers, wines, lassis, teetotals and more. Cap things off with a round of hot chai or coffee.

A fancy room just for you
Private Parties over Portobello Road
Book out the first floor of Permit Room Portobello – a very nice room, for a very big crowd. Tuck into a Sit-Down Spread of moreish plates for sharing (for up to 30 guests), or work the room with Party Bites, canapé-style (for up to 50 guests). Non-veg, veg. and vegan options for all. Let chefs do their thing while you sink into drinks and revel in each other’s company.

Birthdays, work-dos, book clubs, Fridays, new plants. Whatever you’re celebrating, bring friends, families, colleagues, furry pals – the more the merrier. Stick favourite tunes on the jukebox. Or come on a Thursday night, when resident DJs get behind the decks. We have a few semi-private spaces (big groups will be spread across some close-together tables), while Permit Room Portobello has an entire private floor.

Friends, family, colleagues, dogs! Enjoy a damn-fine breakfast. Our everyday breakfast menu is jam-packed with tasty dishes. Order your own or select a mix to dig into. A round of Ginger Shots to fire-up brains. Freshly baked Naan Rolls. Nicely spiced fry-ups. Bottomless porridge. A bunch of light-bites. Washed down with hot chai, coffee and fresh juices. For celebrations and mornings after the night before – best Bloody Marys and Marmalade Mimosas.
Bookings
No matter the hour or shuffling mood at Permit Room – come for a damn-good, delicious time. Revel in each other’s company. Gaze at the walls – art everywhere. Feast, toast and tap to top tunes.
For big groups, it’s worth booking in advance. For parties of 12+ we ask for a £50 deposit for the table (taken off the final bill). If you need to cancel for any reason, give us a shout 24 hours before your booking and we’ll happily refund your deposit.

Bookings
Party Spread Menus are perfect for tables of 6+ and everyone can choose Non-Veg., Veg. or Vegan options when they arrive. Smaller groups of 4–5 can also have the Party Spread as long as the whole party has the same menu – Non-Veg., Veg. or Vegan.
Joining us in Permit Room
Definitely! Just bring it with you on the day. We’re a bit tight on storage space, so we can’t look after any cakes before a booking.
